Dunlop Atv Tires

I have a Standard 2002 Prizm with a default tire size f p175/65/r14 and I dont like the choice of tires for this size. I was told i could upgrade to 185/65/r14 without any issues. I do like several tires in that size. Would my car be able to house them? and Also would the car be affected in any way? Alignment? cornering?

Some additional info i know is: The LSI Prizm can house the p185/65/r14, so why not mine?

I am going to change all 4 tires. I have my eye on the michelin Harmony, Michelin X-Radial and the Dunlop Signature

I want the truck to have a nice, old school, muscle/work truck, kind of look to it. So i figured i could put 235/70/16’s in the front and 265/70/16’s in the rear. The truck is a single cab, long bed, 1985 Ford F-150, RWD, automatic. That tire size difference wont harm the truck right? I just cant rotate them (which im willing to deal with). I drive mostly on the street rather than the highway and live in Austin where its pretty dry and never really icey. I just thought this tire would look nice on the truck. What do you think, good idea and good buy? Let me know, thanks to all the answerers.
Mark F, dude i forgot to mention that im 16 and i work at Mcdonalds, i dont have money for a 200 dollar tire, you know? These generals look and sound like their good sh!t and their half the price. Believe me ive been eyeing those Bridgestones Revo’s but my wallets got its attention on these Generals. Are these a good tire for a 16 year old, broke kid with a truck he loves?

I have a katana and the recomended tire specs are michelin Front : 120/70 ZR17 (58W) Rear : 150/70 ZR17 (69W) Right now I have Dunlop 170/60 ZR17 (72W) on the rear and a Dunlop 120/70 ZR17 (58W) on the front.

My first question is, how are these tires sized? For example, in the spec rear tire: 150/70 R17 (69W) what each number stand for?

My second question is since I have a 170/60 ZR17 (72W) is that bad or good? Is it over or under?

I got rid of my corolla’s 4-year old tires yesterday and got 2 new 5 mm wider pairs from Dunlop, and got the alignment done. Today morning, at a roundabout, the back completely skid off in the road and the car turned 90 degrees and came to a stop. im pretty sure I wasn’t speeding or anything.This is a road I’ve been driving for the past 7 months, and I always drive the way I did today. But for some reason, this time it went wrong. Wat could be the reason? Do the new tires need time to get proper grip? or is there somethin else wrong with my car?

I m after bikers with zx7 r , who actually no what they talkin about . I pretend 2 ride it all year around . Wich tires 2 choose and why ? Just got bike , got dunlop on , but bike s been garaged for over 5 years ( still standart tires , only 3000 miles on bike ( mint , nice bargain ). I believe better option will b getting new ones . The tire sizes for a drz400e are Front: 80/100-21 Rear: 110/100-18, are these the only sizes that will fit because i have seen some with Dunlop 604’s on the rear which I’m interested in getting but they only make them in 120/80-18 for rear. Thanks

Don’t link to Kelley Blue Book, as those values are usually too high, and don’t account for things that my car has.

Car has around 170k and transmission is perfect with an aftermarket cooler for the past ten years. recent work done, including New tires all around (Dunlop 5000 Z-rated), new calsonic radiator, HIDs, a moderately good stereo, and 16" alloy wheels from a 90’s Toyota Supra.

What could I possibly get for it?

I work at a car dealership and we sell a lot of tires. Anyhoo, the guy next to me is always selling Dunlop tires, but for some reason he feels the need to pronounce it "DUNLAP." It is ever so annoying. Is it because he’s from Ohio? How can I make it stop?

Why are the avon tires so *spongie* I put them on my H.D, this year and I hate them. I would rather stick to the road with a Dunlop. What is it with the Avons that make them feel The way they do when riding with them on the bike?

right now i have dunlop 225 45zr17’s. i spoke with a gentleman at a tire shop and he said that on a speed rated tire the brand did not matter because they are all made to the same specs, so go cheap…. is this correct?

I have a 1996 yamaha RAZZ SH50 scooter, and the back tire is essentially bald. That’s a problem. I need to buy a new one, and would prefer to buy a rear wheel tire and a front wheel tire.

The tire that is on there now is a dunlop K398

I am looking to get a replacement for AT LEAST the rear wheel tire, but need a good price. I have found a pair on ebay for , which is way too much.

What would be the absolute CHEAPEST way to replace at least the rear tire? (low cost, but decent tires)

Ok i really need help. I have a dunlop bike. The tyre is flat and I really want to pump it. i use a single hand pumper. My dad attached it to the tyre and he did it and he said that nothing was getting air. He checked and he said he can’t do anything about it. How can I make it pump? would it be the tube? I don’t know if it is i haven’t done it in ages. PLEASE HELP ME!

The Dunlop tires are getting ratings averaging 6.5 – 7 out of 10 for dry/wet/snow/ice and for driving around upstate NY, I’d want more. I can’t find the ratings for the Goodrich though…

hi!.. i got a 2001 v-star custom..wich front tire needs to be replaced, and.. i bought this "kenda" (K673F 100/90-19) tire,same size the bike has the "dunlop" type…well.. ma friend bought it for me.. i just wanna know if this tires got the same quality or if they are better than dunlop,cuz.. i’m thinking in change the rear tire too!..

I want to get new tires for my quad, its a 2005 Suzuki LTZ250 Quadsport, The rear tires are bald now. They are Dunlop AT 20×10x9 and I am looking at Maxxis Razr tires for the replacement, The sizes offered for this quad are 20×11x10, 20×11x8, 20×11x9, and 22×11x9 and I was wondering if any of these sizes could even fit my quad, please help i have no clue what stands for width, height, or whatever lol

I have a 99 toyota Solara SLE. V6. The wheels on it are 16 inch Bridgstone tires which have served well. I now need four new tires for this car, and the dealer told me I can choose from the following. HELP! –Here are my choices from the dealer: –BRIDGESTONE—DUNLOP—GOODYEAR—PIRELLI—UNIROYAL—CONTINENTAL—GENERAL TIRE—MICHELIN—TOYOTIRES—YOKOHAMA. I want good premium tires that are safe and ride very smooth and quiet. It is suck a hard and expensive decision, when you don’t know one from the other!! Can anyone give me some advice on which tire to choose? Thank you all so much for your help and advice!

I found a good deal on two Dunlop NEW 98%+ tread and bought them.

Unfortunately, after waiting 2 hours at the shop to get them mounted, the staff inform me that they cannot install them. Probably because there is a law in CA or entire US keeping them from installing 10+ year old tires…

Should I still use them? No damage whatsoever to the human eye..

Main question: Does tire quality significantly degrade if sitting for 10 years? (Even if they are garaged and new?)

I should probably also note that they are Max Summer Performance tires…no rain just california sunshine…can I use them for Summer atleast?
Addition:

I just realized I have a BMW 740i which is a big/heavy sedan and mechanical nightmares…

I think I should go with brand new as in 2010 to be safe…

What should I do with them?
